Lisa Jerram is a principal research analyst at Navigant Research, where she heads up the Transportation Efficiencies research service. She analyzes emerging markets for new vehicle technologies for cars, trucks and buses; electric vehicle charging equipment; innovative urban mobility solutions such as on-demand mobility; and fuel cells and hydrogen infrastructure.

Lisa has over 20 years of experience analyzing the market potential of advanced transportation technologies, with her work being used by governments and the private sector to determine market potential, barriers and drivers across a range of new technologies.

Bjørn Utgård

Director of New Markets of EVBox

Bjørn Utgård is the Director of New Markets of EVBox, the world’s leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and charging management software. He directs the company’s expansion beyond home markets in Western Europe and North America.  In 2017, EVBox was acquired by ENGIE FAB, a platform created by the energy conglomerate ENGIE to promote and facilitate open innovation. With an installed base of over 50,000 charging points across more than 980 cities worldwide today, EVBox offers charging solutions to EV drivers, businesses, commercial facilities and cities.

Mr. Utgård has 17 years’ experience with technology innovation, entrepreneurship and policy development within sustainable mobility and renewable energy. His recent experiences include award-winning scenario analysis for EVs in emerging economies, widely cited national charging infrastructure plans, and development of smart EV-charging business models in Western Europe. He is also a frequent speaker at international conferences on e-mobility, such as the Nordic EV summit (2018), the Global Renewable Energy Forum (2017) and the LatAm Mobility Summit (2018). As a Norwegian citizen living in the Netherlands, he draws on extensive first hand experiences from the world’s most advanced EV markets, where EVs are now a mass-market reality.

Bjørn holds an MSc in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, supplemented with post-graduate studies in energy economics, climate policy and entrepreneurship at Makerere (Uganda), Kyoto (Japan)

Dr Luis Tercero

Head of Business Unit Systemic Risks, Fraunhofer Institute

Dr. TERCERO is head of the Business Unit Systemic Risks and coordinates all work related to materials and raw materials at Fraunhofer ISI in Karlsruhe, Germany. Starting 2009, he has managed or been actively involved in a variety of projects (German, EU, Industry) related to critical raw materials, raw material supply and demand, changing demand through emerging technologies, dynamic modelling of material flows, raw materials policy and resource efficiency. He had a leading role in supporting the Ad-hoc Working Group on Defining Critical Raw Materials (2009–2010 and 2013–2014) in the context of the EU Raw Materials Initiative, and is currently a member of the Operational Groups of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials. He received his formal training as a chemical engineer (B.Sc., M.Sc., Dr.-Ing.) in Nicaragua, the USA and Germany.

Richard Collins

PhD, Technology Analyst at IDTechEx

IDTechEx provides independent market research, business intelligence and events on emerging technologies to companies across the value chain. Richard works within their advanced materials division and has a specific focus on emerging lightweight technologies. Richard’s work has included producing interview-based company profiles, authorship of several IDTechEx reports, keynote and masterclass presentations at international conferences, and delivering custom consulting projects for billion-dollar companies. Richard was awarded his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Oxford. He worked on the design and synthesis of organometallic catalysts as part of an international industrial collaboration concerning the production of elastomers.


Dr. Dmitri Tsentalovich

COO and Co-Founder of DexMat

Dr. Tsentalovich holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, where his research focused on studying the fluid properties of carbon nanotube (CNT) solutions in chlorosulfonic acid in order to improve the strength and conductivity of acid-spun CNT fibers. He has authored over 25 scientific publications, which have been cited over 1500 times.

As COO of DexMat, Dr. Tsentalovich has helped his company secure SBIR awards from the U.S. Air Force, NASA and NSF. He was recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for the Manufacturing/Industry category in 2016. Since then, Dr. Tsentalovich has worked on production improvements and scale up of CNT-based conductors and coatings for EMI cable shielding applications.

Krystyna Dawson

Business Manager, BSRIA WMI

From January 2017, Krystyna assumed the role of  General Manager at BSRIA Worldwide Marketing Intelligence, consequently becoming Director of BSRIA Inc operation in the US and of BSRIA Consultancy in China.

Her previous work, at BSRIA WMI, was leading the Heating and Renewable department of WMI studies beginning in 2011.

Prior to her position at BSRIA, Krystyna worked for 17 years in international publishing media companies, holding the position of Publishing Director at Gruner & Jahr Verlag (part of Bertelsmann) and Regional Managing Director for Eastern Europe at Harlequin Enterprises (part of Torstar Corporation).

Krystyna holds an MA in Roman Philology from Jagiellonen University (UJ) in Krakow and speaks fluent French, German, English and Polish. After graduating, she completed a post graduate course on International Trade and Business at the  Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Colin Bennett
