IDTechEx provides independent market research, business intelligence and events on emerging technologies to companies across the value chain. Richard works within their advanced materials division and has a specific focus on emerging lightweight technologies. Richard’s work has included producing interview-based company profiles, authorship of several IDTechEx reports, keynote and masterclass presentations at international conferences, and delivering custom consulting projects for billion-dollar companies. Richard was awarded his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Oxford. He worked on the design and synthesis of organometallic catalysts as part of an international industrial collaboration concerning the production of elastomers.


Sasha Wedekind

Research Analyst, Guidehouse

Sasha Wedekind is a research analyst contributing to Guidehouse Research's Building Innovations program, where she is focused on energy efficiency in commercial buildings. Wedekind specializes in global market analysis and market forecasts for the construction, retrofit, and ongoing operation of more energy efficient buildings. Her areas of focus include renewable and energy efficient power generation, green building certification programs, sustainable building materials, and emerging business models.

Prior to joining Navigant Research, Wedekind was a research analyst at Academic Impressions, where she was responsible for conducting market research to inform company product strategies. She has also worked as a visiting researcher at the Environmental Law Institute, focusing on issues of natural resource management in countries emerging from civil war, and as an intern at Newmont Mining, performing country risk analysis for global operations. Wedekind is fluent in Russian and holds an MA in international studies, with concentrations in environmental sustainability and statistics, from the University of Denver.


Benedikt Hoskuldsson

Benedikt Hoskuldsson is from Iceland and works as Lead Partnership Specialist in the Vienna office. He joined SEforALL from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, where he served as a senior diplomat.

Benedikt has worked in Japan, Germany and the US during his career, and last served as director of the department of Natural Resources, Environment and Renewable Energy at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs

Benedikt holds an M.A. in Economics with expertise in International Economics and Money and Monetary Systems.

Anette Meyer Holley

Anette is a Business and Economics graduate from Copenhagen Business School and joined BSRIA (Building Services Research & Information Association) in 1994. She has over 30 years experience in market research and consultancy, having worked both on the agency side and the client side in the financial services sector. Before joining BSRIA Anette worked as a commercial consultant at the Danish Embassy in London.

After a background in managing WMI’s biggest portfolio and a team of consultants working in the ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump field and the consultancy side of the operations, she took over management of the WMI department in 2018.

Anette regularly presents global HVAC trends at shows, seminars and to client audiences across the world and regularly works with global clients and institutions such as ICA, Bosch, Danfoss, Samsung, Siemens and World Bank.

Krisztina Kalman-Schueler

Krisztina is the Managing Partner of DMM Advisory Group, an international management consulting company providing strategy, commercial and technical consulting services for the metals, mining and diamond sectors. Krisztina has gathered over 20 years expertise in strategy and management consulting. Her list of clients includes several mining majors, metal producers, many junior mining and exploration companies, investors and metal trade associations. She has a Bachelor degree from the University of Cologne, Germany, and an MBA from NYU Stern Business School, New York, USA.

Active member of YPO Gold Mexico City Chapter. Founder of Binswanger Mexico.

Michèle Bruelhart

Executive Director for the Copper Mark

Michèle Bruelhart is Executive Director for the Copper Mark. She is an expert in supply chain due diligence with over 10 years of experience working on the design, implementation and independent assessment of sustainability standards. Michèle has worked in Africa and Europe, including field work in over 30 countries. She has also held positions with the Responsible Business Alliance, RCS Global, Underwriters Laboratories and the German Society for International Cooperation. Michèle holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies Geneva, Switzerland.

Ernest Scheyder

Ernest Scheyder, Mining and Future Energy Correspondent, Reuters

Ernest Scheyder is a journalist at Reuters covering the future of energy and transportation, with a focus on copper, lithium, cobalt and other minerals powering the electrification trend reshaping our global economy. He also writes regularly on electric vehicle and battery technology.

Previously, he covered the oil and natural gas industry for eight years, including a stint living in North Dakota’s Bakken shale oil patch for Reuters, telling the stories of the fracking boom and bust from a unique perch.

A Maine native, Scheyder is a graduate of the University of Maine and the Columbia Journalism School. He’s a fan of endurance sports, and has completed five marathons and ten triathlons.
