David McGinty

Global Director, Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE)

David manages the fast-growing Secretariat team in the Hague. Previously, he has led public-private partnerships for an international NGO, been head of a private sector development and impact investing advisory firm, and taught management and law at the graduate level. David holds a Master of Law (LLM) degree from Villanova University and Juris Doctorate from Temple University. He spends his time outside of PACE as an angel investor, non-profit board member, and an avid supporter of the arts. He is married and the father of two children.


Kunal Sinha

Global Commercial Lead, Glencore Recycling

Kunal Sinha is the Global Commercial Lead for Glencore Recycling. In this role, he oversees the recycling of a wide range of Copper and Precious Metals bearing post-consumer resources and manufacturing scrap - from electronics, to standard grades of Copper scrap and many other types of recyclables in between. These are sourced from 30+ countries and 200+ counterparties. Previously, he managed Glencore's North American Sulphuric Acid business. He started with Glencore in 2012 in the Copper Concentrates team.

Prior to Glencore, Kunal spent 6 years in Management Consulting at ZS Associates. He holds an MBA from the London Business School, an M.S. in Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India.


Adam Estelle

Director, Rod & Bar

Adam Estelle joined the Copper Development Association (CDA) in 2008 and currently manages several market development initiatives designed to defend and grow the use of copper and copper alloys. Adam is the Director of CDA’s Rod & Bar Council which is comprised of companies that produce brass rod for precision machined and forged products. In addition, Adam is a subject matter expert on emerging markets for copper alloy touch surfaces based on their inherent antimicrobial properties with expertise in scientific evidence, antimicrobial product regulations and supply chain development. Adam also leads an industry working group formed to protect the viability of the copper and brass recycling stream. Adam holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Arizona.


Laurent Chokoualé Datou

Vice President of Public Affairs at International Copper Association

Laurent Chokoualé Datou leads the International Copper Association (ICA)'s global public affairs, which includes building and managing ICA's material stewardship and reputation building portfolios.

Prior to that, he held over 30 years in various managerial positions with prominent international public affairs and strategic communications agencies, counselling clients on their stakeholder engagement strategies across multiple industries and policy workstreams, both in the European Union and globally.

A French national, Laurent is a lawyer by training with a post-graduate education in European Law.
