As global issues such as energy, climate change and health become more urgent, copper plays an important role in almost every industry.
The International Copper Association, Ltd. (ICA), its 35 members and the alliance of national and regional associations responsible for program development and implementation with ICA’s more than 500 current program partners around the world bring together the global copper industry to develop and defend markets for copper and to make a positive contribution to society’s sustainable-development goals.
The Copper Alliance® represents a network of regional copper centers and their industry-leading members, led by ICA.
ICA and the Copper Alliance are responsible for guiding policy and strategy and for funding international initiatives and promotional activities. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the organization has offices in Asia, Europe and North America. Copper Alliance programs and initiatives are executed in nearly 60 countries through its regional offices and a broad network of copper promotion centers.
