Based in Europe

Robert Pintér works to promote copper’s applications in sustainable buildings through advocacy on EU building legislation. Working in the Green and Healthy Buildings (GHB) program, Robert’s favorite project is making the case to implement wastewater heat recovery systems in buildings, which he identifies as an underestimated but essential technology to address energy efficiency in the EU.

Having worked at the regional and local levels in Europe, Robert is proud that his experience and training as an engineer are now applied to affecting legislative and regulatory frameworks related to building construction at the European level. Robert has spent his entire career exploring copper’s many applications, first joining the industry in 1997.

“Copper is extremely versatile and essential to decarbonizing our buildings.”
