Rainer Pfluger is an Associate Professor at the University of Innsbruck in the Energy Efficient Building unit where he is leading several national and international research projects. Over the past decade, Professor Pfluger has acted as an expert member of a number of scientific conference advisory boards and standardisation bodies, including the Austrian Standards Institute’s air-conditioning technology and mechanical ventilation for residential buildings committees. His research specialises in building services engineering, energy efficiency, building physics and energy efficient buildings.
