Amelia Miles collects, analyzes and communicates data on sustainability issues related to the copper industry, such as climate change, recycling, water stewardship, energy and human rights. She monitors the latest developments in Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) space and manages projects that provide members with scientific data to promote responsible practices.
Amelia played a pivotal role in updating sustainability-related materials for the International Copper Association’s (ICA) website, ensuring transparency and availability of sustainability data for the copper industry. She brings her expertise from her MS degree in Sustainability Management to her global analyses and enjoys learning about regional differences in sustainability issues from her colleagues and members all over the world. Outside of the office, Amelia enjoys coaching a local girls’ soccer team and exploring D.C., as well as making time to visit her family in South Carolina, U.S.
